Andrew Churchill

churchill-originalAndrew Churchill has over 20 years experience working in security within Government, Industry and Academia, in particular cyber security and financial crime, leading the UK cyber crime task force, and as subject matter expert on a European Union cyber crime and terrorism programme.

He is currently Standards Director for MIDAS (Mobile ID/Authentication Standards) Alliance, lead author of the British Standards Institute Digital Identification & Authentication Code of Practice, and Digital Innovation Director for TISA, a UK financial services association, where he leads the industry Digital ID pilot, KYC passport, and Data Protection Code of Conduct. He also researches vulnerabilities and security solutions, specialising in payment and identity systems.

In addition to his first degree he holds Masters in Defence & Security Analysis (MA Lancaster) and Information Security (MSc, Royal Holloway).
