Edona Fasllija

fasllija-pic-orginalEdona Fasllija works as a Software Developer and Researcher at the EU Projects Office of the e-ID Technologies Department at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). The e-ID Technologies department is the lead developer of the Turkish National Electronic Identity Card, and other e-ID related technologies such as Electronic Authentication Systems, Smartcard operating systems, personalization systems, e-Government solutions, etc. She graduated from the Computer Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2012 and obtained her MSc. Degree on Parallel Computing from the Computer Engineering Department of METU University in 2017. Since then, she has been working at the EU projects office in various large-scale EU-funded projects FP7 e-SENS, e-CODEX, and currently working on H2020 FutureTrust and LIGHTest projects. Her main interests include security and privacy preservation technologies and their applications to e-government sector, e-ID, e-signatures, and trust models.
