white-250Andrew White is an engineer with over 30 years’ experience of designing, delivering and assuring large and complex technology programmes.  He provides secure cloud-based services to Health Education England, the Home Office and the MoD.  His wide brief within Deloitte includes large-scale technical architecture, strategic assurance of complex programmes, design principles, development and delivery methods, identity, data protection, information governance (he is the SRO for Deloitte’s processing of patient level data for analytics and other services), information assurance and cyber defence.  He pioneers Deloitte’s health tech alliances with specialist SME businesses, and is currently bringing to market a distinctive and innovative digital app for improving efficiency and outcomes in community health.  Between 2008 and 2010 he was the Scheme Architect for the National Identity Scheme, responsible for all aspects of scheme-wide architecture, design and information assurance.  He is a member of the BCS Identity Assurance Working Group and was the principal author of its most recent yearbook paper “How to recognise a good online identity scheme”.
